Bryce Norris Shows Speed with World of Outlaws at I-55
PEVELY, Mo. (August 3, 2024) Bryce Norris returned to the driver's seat of his Platinum Lawncare No. 410 Sprinter on Friday afternoon at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.) for the doubleheader weekend with the World of Outlaws (WoO) NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series.
Amassing 44 entries for Friday's Prelude to the Ironman, Norris narrowly fell shy of a transfer spot in his heat, relegating him into a consolation race for another shot at the opener. Taking only the top-four, Bryce recorded a ninth-place outing.
Back at the 1/3-mile Missouri oval on Saturday, Bryce held onto a transfer spot in his B-Main after breaking a panhard bolt while running in second. Pinned on the 12th row for the $25,000-to-win Ironman 55, Norris capped off the successful weekend by passing seven cars in the 55-lap affair to place 16th.
