Motor woes sideline Norris in World of Outlaws debut at TST

Embarking on his first ever start with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series, Bryce Norris trekked to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday afternoon to enter his Norris Racing No. 37 into battle with The Greatest Show on Dirt.

Amongst a field of 29 entries for the Talladega Sprint Car Showdown, Norris was still learning the track in time trials but jumped up 10th-to-7th in his heat. Needing to place sixth or better in his B-Main to make the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Bryce edged his way with a sixth-place finish. Starting in 23rd, Norris ran into motor issues early that sidelined him on the eighth circuit.
